Try out different types of needles and hooks, from 9 inch circulars to working with a magic loop. Knit on our sample sock to experience sock knitting. Work with individual yarns to from wool to cotton. Try mixing yarns to create a different fabric.

“Off-Gauge” Knitting Workshop- a conversation with sweater coach Susan Feely. You may want to knit at a different gauge than recommended in the pattern—you are using a different weight of yarn than recommended in the pattern, or your preferred fabric is at a different gauge. We will discuss adjustments to yarn amounts you will need and key measurements when knitting at a different gauge.
