Red/White Sock Scrimmage / 2024
Join other sock knitters in a fun scrimmage during the month of October...
- Help your Red or White team score by wrapping up any unfinished socks.
- Weekly drawings and team meetings on Tuesdays Oct 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th at 6:30 pm via zoom.
- Learn together to knit the Over Easy Socks by Holli Yeoh. Step by step from cast on to shadow wrap toe. Knit flat in stockinette. Joined together when knitting the sole. New! Bifurcated heel. Participants need to purchase the pattern prior to kick off. Teaching segments will be recorded and registered participants will receive links.
- Fun contests and drawing for prizes weekly prizes.

*In - Person Learn to Knit Socks Class - Begins October 3rd for three sessions.
The fine points...
- Drawing for teams will be held on our first scrimmage on Tuesday, October 1st at 6:30 pm via zoom. PLEASE ADD CLASS TO YOUR CART AND CHECK OUT. This will let us know you want to participate.
- Scrimmage begins October 1st and ends October 31st.
- The zoom sessions WILL NOT be recorded for playback.
- Exclusive Scrimmage post game party on Saturday November 2nd at the shop. Time TBA based on kick off time.
- Winning team will have first choice of special NEW colors from Lazy Bee Yarns.
- Completed adult socks count as any previously started or new full size sock* - even if it's just the toe. Two adult shorties count as one entry.
- Bring in completed socks to shop to add your name OR send a picture via text or email.
*socks that count towards the scrimmage must be made with fingering weight yarn purchased from KPS. DK weight socks do not count towards the scrimmage.
