Try out different types of needles and hooks, from 9 inch circulars to working with a magic loop. Knit on our sample sock to experience sock knitting. Work with individual yarns to from wool to cotton. Try mixing yarns to create a different fabric.

How to read yarn labels. 12:00-Fix it Lab - bring your project Do you have a knit or crochet question or problem that needs a quick fix? Help with pattern instructions or getting you back on track.
2:00 - “Color Confidence” Choosing the Perfect Palette for your Knitting Projects- Not sure which colors to pair for your next project? We will explore the basics of color theory, how to work with solids, tonals, and speckles, and how to choose yarns that complement your pattern. Your your pattern ideas, or just your curiosity = we'll experiment and build your confidence in picking colors.
5:30 - 7:00 - Ravelry the Movie & Pizza Party
Learn to navigate this popular website resource. We will be showing how to on the big screen. You are selcome to bring an ipad or laptop to follow along. PLEASE make sure you can login (with your user name and password) BEFORE the workshop.
