Creature Feature Class
This qualifies as a Summer Cruise class.
Set sail on a creative adventure with our ocean-inspired crochet class, perfect for our summer cruising theme. In these playful and relaxing sessions, you will create sea animals in the crochet amigurumi style. By the end of class, you will have a finished, or nearly finished, ocean buddy ready to accompany you on all your summer adventures - no passports required!
Class: Creature Feature Class
Skill Level: Confident crocheter. This is NOT a learn-to-crochet class.
Must Know Beforehand: Need to be familiar with all basic crochet stitches and know how to read a crochet pattern.
Class Sessions: One session. Please register individually,
Colorful Sea Turtle - June 4, 5:30
Cheerful Dolphin - July 9, 5:30
Cuddly Otter - August 6, 5:30
Cost: $15
You will learn: You’ll learn shaping techniques and basic amigurumi construction.

Class is taught right-handed.
Supplies Needed:
- TURTLE: Yarn and pattern included in class. Bring a Size US G crochet hook, a darning needle, and six stitch markers, (the kind you hook into a stitch). If you have six different colors, that would be ideal.
- DOLPHIN: Yarn included with class. Purchase Mini Amigurumi Ocean book* by Sarah Abbondio. Bring a size US G hook, darning needle, and two stitch markers, (the kind you hook into a stitch). Be sure your markers are different colors.
- OTTER: Yarn will be provided with class. Purchase Mini Amigurumi Ocean book* by Sarah Abbondio. Bring a size US G crochet hook, and a darning needle.
Homework:
- None
Classes with fewer than three students will be canceled 72 hours before the start date, and participants will receive a full refund. No refund will be issued for canceling registration 72 hours before class.

| Instructor Bio: | I have been knitting and crocheting since I was a young girl. I tried learning on my own, but ended up learning from dear family members during holiday gatherings. I feel like my life is richer because of my ability to knit and crochet among other crafts. Sharing the joy of learning with those who come into my life makes me happy. I was blessed to teach elementary aged children for 30 years in the classroom as well as eager knitters, crocheters, needlepointers, and tatters in my life. Now, I get to continue to help others learn here at Knit Paper Scissors. I treasure the friendships I am making as I continue on this new adventure in my life. |
